 Since the link is kind of vague on how this is supported I will add some info. You need to download the VMware Update ISO provided by 3ware to add the support for the 9690SA in 3.5.0 Update 2 (working in my build 110268). It is listed in the downloads for the 9690SA on 3ware site as 9.5.1-VmwareEsx3.5-update2-Codeset-Complete.iso. You burn this to a CD, load this CD first, then it will prompt you to insert the normal VMware ESX 3.5.0 Update 2 CD.
