HP D530s but looking for info on correct RAM

 I\'ve just finished a VMWARE Fasttrack course and the trainer directed me to this website because he told me that my D530 HP PCs are ESX Server compatible so I\'m about to upgrade the RAM but because the D530s use DDR1 RAM and not DDR2 RAM, my question is will 2gb of DDR1 RAM Work for ESX Server? Thanks for your Response in advance.
