Error - Insert the ESX Installation media

 I am trying to install ESX4 on an Intel DP43TF mobo and I am getting an error;

Insert the ESX Installation media

I have tried using an IDE and USB/IDE drive and I have also tried different media.
Interesting thing though, I can install ESXi without any trouble.

Any thoughts? Google has turned up very little.
