How to USE single SATA Hard disk for ESX 3.5 VMFS & VMKORE partition

Hi team , I have a whote box which has the conf of (Q 9550, S3210SHLC,8GB RAM,1 TB WD hard disk). When initially I ahd bought the White box I was able to creat the VMFS partition as well as the Vmkore prtition without any flaw. Just few days back I formatted the Hard disk , Now I am not able to see the VMFS & VMkore partition type. Even if I choose to check in the retain VMFS & virtual machine some time a VMFS aprtition is automatically created but of few MB only rest spcea is left as Extended free space. Can u suggest. I cannot buy a Raid card for that means. So any other suggestion is mor then welcome. Regards Sripati |
