Dell Optiplex GX620 - CPU Upgrade

Hi there, I have a Dell Optiplex GX620 box that I am trying to get up and running with ESXi. The only issue I am running into is that the CPU doesn\'t support virtualization. The CPU is a Pentium 4 3.0ghz HT. I was wondering if this machine would support an CPU upgrade to Pentium D 960? I have read different message boards where some people stat that it will work and some saying that it won\'t. Can someone confirm this? Thanks. |
